Seller policy
The commission, settlement and conduct terms that apply to every merchant on MISA Bazaar.

Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft prepared for the platform build. It must be reviewed by a qualified Pakistani legal adviser before launch and is not yet a binding statement of policy.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to every seller account on MISA Bazaar, alongside the terms of service §9. Selling requires identity verification (KYC) and, once approved, is governed by the commission and payout terms below.
2. Getting approved
- A CNIC front, back and a selfie holding your CNIC — reviewed by our verification team, typically within 1 hour of a complete application.
- A pickup address the courier collects your parcels from.
- Every product you list is reviewed before it becomes visible to buyers — new sellers and new products both enter a moderation queue.
3. Commission
MISA Bazaar (Private) Limited charges a commission on each item sold, deducted before your earnings are released. The platform default is 10% of the item's net price (after your own discount, before any platform-funded promotion — a discount we fund never reduces what you are owed). Some categories carry a different rate, shown on your product listing form before you publish, and the rate that applied when an order was placed is what you are charged for that order — a later rate change never rewrites a sale that already shipped.
Delivery is charged to the buyer and collected by the platform; it is not deducted from your earnings. A per-order Cash on Delivery handling fee and any tax withholding required by law, where applicable, are shown separately on your earnings statement.
4. When you get paid
An order's value becomes part of your available balance once all of the following are true:
- The parcel is marked delivered.
- 7 days have passed since delivery, with no return or dispute opened.
- For Cash on Delivery, the courier has remitted the cash it collected to us — this is usually the slowest step, and outside our control.
A new seller's first 10 delivered parcels are held for an additional 14 days before becoming available, as a standard anti-fraud measure. This is not a penalty — every marketplace applies extra scrutiny to a selling history that does not exist yet.
5. Withdrawing your balance
- Minimum withdrawal: Rs 1,000.
- Payouts run on a weekly schedule and are also reviewable on request from your earnings page.
- A transfer fee applies per withdrawal — currently Rs 25 to a JazzCash or Easypaisa wallet, Rs 50 to a bank account — deducted from the amount sent unless stated otherwise on your earnings page.
- Adding or changing your payout account starts a 48-hour freeze on withdrawals. This protects you: it gives you time to notice and report a change you did not make before any money moves.
- Two-factor authentication is required before your first withdrawal, and for every withdrawal after that.
6. Returns, refunds and disputes
Where a buyer returns an item or a refund is issued, the amount is deducted from your balance in the same way it was credited — see the returns & refunds policy. A refund the platform funds as goodwill, rather than one caused by a fault on your side, is not charged to you. Where a buyer and seller disagree, MISA Bazaar reviews the evidence from both sides and decides — see terms §8.
7. Your obligations
- List only goods you are lawfully entitled to sell, accurately described, at the price and stock level shown.
- Pack and hand off each order to the courier within the handling time shown on your listing.
- Honour a confirmed order — declining stock that is actually available, after a buyer has been confirmed, damages trust in the whole marketplace.
- Keep your KYC and pickup details current. A shop with an invalid pickup address cannot be booked for collection.
8. Suspension and enforcement
We may suspend a listing or a shop that breaches this policy, misrepresents goods, produces an unusual rate of returns or refused deliveries, or puts buyers at risk. Funds already earned and settled at the time of a suspension are not affected; funds still clearing are held until any open order or dispute against them is resolved.
9. Changes
Commission rates, settlement timing and payout fees are operational settings and may change. A change to your commission rate never applies retroactively to an order already placed. Material changes are announced in the seller portal before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page changes with them.
10. Contact
Questions about a specific payout or commission line are fastest through your earnings page, which shows the exact figures for every settled sale. For anything else, contact support.
